The PBS reported: "FDA said it is extending the deadline after restaurants and other retailers said they needed more time to put the rules in place."

How do you feel about this?

As a consumer does this make a difference to you?

Sure, I like to have calorie information when I make selections.

I find it very helpful. For instance, today I stopped by Panera Bread and given the calories for a sweet with no nutritional value, I ended up spending more money for something that had more calories but also offered some real nutrition. I commend Panera Bread for their transparency and I look forward to a future where this information is always made readily available.
I like the legislative idea that exempts smaller establishments - this is only fair. The mom and pop restaurants need not be burdened. The giants I believe over 20 locations must comply. Sadly the compliance date has been moved forward.
