    The History Of Donuts

I can see how history and donuts are mutually exclusive. Therefore I'd like to prise the info from your old as dirt mind and allow my eyes to wander lasciviously upon your sugary narrative. Thankyou in advance drbj smile

I think donuts used to have no holes. but the center of the donuts may sometimes left uncook. so they made a hole to make it easier.

If I'm not mistaken, they were designed that way (with the hole) so you could grip them easier and dip them into your coffee better.

How can I refuse such a calorie-laden request? Workin' on it, froggie, dear.
Tyer, your answer about the coffee-enabled hole in the donut really intrigues me. Never thought about that. What clever folks these Hubbers are!
