In my opinion France, Spain and Italy will be leaders in this branch long time.
Anyone who thinks they can tell you a specific country isn't exploring the wine world enough.
The USA has great wine regions, without mentioning Napa Valley you've left off the best Cabernet Sauvignon on the planet. That's without even bringing up some of the Rhone varietals from the California central coast, including Wine Spectator's wine of the year.
France produces the best Merlot, perhaps the best Pinot Noir, Champagne etc.
