How far ahead can these be made for a dinner party?
I'm to bring the vegetables for a dinner party of 16.
I would like to find something everyone will like and at the same time can use something have in the garden ie MANY green tomatoes. I will be leaving home (with my vegetable dish) probably 3 hours before we will be eating.
Fried green tomatoes are best while they're still hot. I don't think that this would make a good vegetable to take to a party.
Thanks for writing --
