Does anyone know of a good Indian cookbook?

I am looking not just for a collection of recipes, but a more comprehensive book about Indian cooking.  It may specialize in a particular region.

There's one I like called Cooking with Kurma - you can check his style out on his website http://www.kurma.net/books/index.html

I have a book from about 20 years ago by Sipra Das Gupta. Best introduction to Indian cooking I could imagine. I still use it above all others when I want a new Indian dish

A more comprehensive book which i would suggest is the one which i have. It is by Meera Blackley titled "Indian Home Cooking". Any book by Sanjeev Kapoor is also good.

My personal favorites are 1) The complete vegetable Cook Book and 2) Cooking Delights of the Maharajas.
For some delicious non vegetarian food try out - Tandoor Trails n The Indian cooking by Madhur Jaffery

For specializing in particular region - Wazwaan (Yes its not only a food name but book also)
