Do you have any recipes that use leftover cocktail sauce?
I have a bunch of cocktail sauce leftover from some shrimp cocktail that I made the other day and was wondering if anyone has any recipes that utilize cocktail sauce with other proteins or dishes....it certainly has a unique flavor and I've only ever had it with shrimp.
hmmmm.... I might try 1/4 the sauce to 3/4 ranch dressing for a salad.....I might just poach some fish in it.....but most likely I would make some oven fried fish (a commercial brand from the grocery freezer) and serve it with that (yeah, that isn't very creative!)
I would be curious as to whether the dressing turned out. I do mix salsa with ranch and it turns out great.
