What's a good idea for pre-packaged breakfast item for large group of teenagers?
My teen's school band is having a lock-in for them. My son has to bring a breakfast item, he wants to bring poptarts. Poptarts for 80+ teens. I don't think that's going to be a wise buy. It needs to be pre-packaged and I would prefer something that's not going to hurt the wallet too much. Any suggestions or ideas?
Why not make some rice krispie treats. You can make loads of different flavors.
For example:
*melt some milk chocolate, add some dried fruit like sultanas and mix through the rice krispies; spread out into a baking tray; leave to cool and slice into squares
*melt some white chocolate, add some fruit pieces (frozen raspberries or strawberries (defrosted)); spread out into a baking tray; leave to cool and slice into squares
*make some caramel (boiling water add sugar and butter), add some chopped peaches (tinned is fine) and again spread out into a baking tray, cool and slice
There is no end to the cereals you can use or the mix to make the biscuit solid. Cereals and fruit are healthy. A box of cereal will go along way as will melted chocolate and some fruit. You can make loads within ruining your bank balance.
Hope this is helpful. Good luck:)
Granola bars? Kashi bars? I'd say lean pockets breakfast variety, but then they'd have to be heated.
Good luck with 80+ teens ;-)

If you were given a coupoun that was good for a complete meal (appetizer, main course, dessert, etc) anywhere in the world, where would you go and what would you eat? It doesn't have to be a restaurant. It can also be a combination of foods from different restauraunts/places.

IT'S TIME FOR BREAKFAST. Apples or Oranges? A whole fruit or juice? What's your choice?

What's the strangest thing you have had for Breakfast, instead of usual Cereal or Toast?Just last weekend, I had a big slice of birthday cake with coffee, for breakfast - given to me at a birthday party the previous day. Once, I even had a slice of Pizza.....
