    Where do you get fresh fish and vegetables in North Lake Tahoe

    We love Lake Tahoe, but the Safeway in Tahoe City tends to have poor quality food when it comes to fresh fish and vegetables.  Where is the best place to buy these types of food in the North Lake Tahoe area?

    There is another Safeway just up the road in Kings Beach.  The Tahoe City store is a bit small and doesn't feature as much as the larger store in Kings Beach.  The Kings Beach one has also been recently remodeled (about 5 or 6 years ago) while the Tahoe City one is still waiting for a remodel.
