How well do recipes do on HP as far as traffic is concerned?
In my experience, it depends on how common the recipe is. I don't have many recipe hubs but my recipe for chocolate gravy that's been up for a while now (gets about 10 hits per day) out does all of my other ones with traffic followed by the kale side dish. I think if you have something different or are using a common ingredient in a new and unusual way, it will do better than something common like fried chicken or spaghetti. That's just my experience with it though.
Some of my recipe hubs receive a lot of traffic while others are visited infrequently. I find those that do best are simple and use fresh ingredients. Lots of photos and step-by-step instructions keep the attention of the readers. Choosing a good URL and the right category are really important, as well.
