Do you have a favorite casserole dish?

Would you like to share your favorite casserole dish with the HubPages community.  As most of us now return to our crazy schedules having a casserole dish waiting at home can help us save time and money.

Any delicious recipes you'd like to share?

I like to make Shephards Pie.  Scrambled hamburger (with onions, garlic and other spices to include a dash of cinnamon) press this into a baking dish, then add a layer of either left over veggies or canned corn, then a layer of mashed potatoes (homemade of course).  I also add cheese to the potatoes sometimes.  Then bake it for about 15 minutes for everything to get warm. From start to finish it takes about 30 minutes to make.  Umm Umm Good.

Thank you Sarra for your suggestion, my husband loves mashed potatoes and this will make a great dish for me to make during those hectic weekday nights.

I like making a "tater tot" casserole.
You get one 16 oz bag of tots, one pound cooked hamburger meat, 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup and one large bag of shredded cheddar cheese. Mix all in a baking dish, and cook for 35 minutes on 450! Super easy and soo good.

That does sound easy.  I've seen several recipes that use cream soups but have never tried it.  I'll have to try this one for sure.

I agree with Sarra Garrett about Shephards pie, it's delicious smile Lasagna is always fabulous as well!! Or maybe a tuna noodle casserole!

Moonfairy, thank you for your suggestions.  Lasagna is a great meal and the leftovers are usually even better.
