What are some healthy and FILLING snacks for the office?

I've tried granola bars, but I end up eating 5 a day! I need a snack that will keep my stomach from growling every hour, and also will keep me energized.

    A very filling snack:

    Large pitted dates
    Raw almonds or cashews
    Organic peanut butter

    Instructions:
Grab a date, shove an almond or cashew into the middle and cover it with some peanut butter.

    Other snack ideas:
    Hummus and vegetables
    Boiled eggs
    Dried fruits with almond butter
Banana with peanut butter and some nuts
Homemade granola with organic whole milk

Try to fill up on foods that combine protein with fat. Avoid white sugar or high fructose corn syrup. Avoid white flour or grains that are overly processed.

Your "avoid" list would explain why my granola bars have not been working smile Thanks!

My favorite very filling snack is a banana with peanut butter on it. You just have to watch how much peanut butter because it is high in calories.

I love to nibble on hummus. My favorite is roasted red pepper hummus and I either spread it on pita bread or I dip baby carrots and/or celery in it and snack on that.
