Why my bread dough doesn't double its' size when I put it on top my of fridge?
It remained the same dough original size after 2 hours. I felt my hands on the fridge, it is warm but not the bowl of bread dough...
I had this happen one time and when I checked the date on the yeast I was using I found that it had expired.
Yeast needs a warm moist place to grow. Best to place near stove/oven. If there is an open shelf above your stove, that's the best spot. When you are cooking something on the stove, the moist and warmth will reactivate the yeast. Make sure that bread dough is not exposed to too much heat, it can kill the yeast or expedite the rising to your surprise. A cold kitchen will never do. Check that your kitchen temperature is above 65 degrees. Also, check your yeast's shelf life. Older yeast most likely will not work.

I know the average person probably doesn't use Heading 4 much, but I just had occasion to use it, and I notice that it looks more prominent than Heading 3 - which makes it look pretty peculiar in a hierarchy. Any chance that could be adjusted?
