If cake was suddenly outlawed, what food would you want your birthday candles placed in?

A bacon cheeseburger. Or, if a "floating" candle is available, put it in a beer.
For me, it's a Friendly's Watermelon Roll.
Who would think chocolate chips in watermelon sherbert would work, but it SO does!
A thick, juicy Reuben sandwich! (I also like FatFreddysCat's floating candle idea..but in a glass of wine!)
Gelato! I love Breyer's new gelato, the triple chocolate is awesome.
Pie! Actually, truth be told, my last several birthdays I've requested an oreo cheesecake. Though I don't know if that would be similarly outlawed because it has 'cake' in the title. But, a blueberry pie, or chocolate pudding pie would make for an awesome birthday.
Caramel Flan, oh yeah! In extra-large size to fit all the candles!
