What's your favorite cooking utensil and why?
My French wife, as she does everything in the kitchen, and produces superb meals everyday
lol, now just don't tell your wife you referred to her as an utensil! I think my favorite is a set of pastel Italian carving/paring knives I received for Christmas. They work great and look amazing.
It would have to be my can opener. For without it, I would not be able to make many things!
I will have to go with a a pan, as you can cook so many variety of food with it. Also most of the things you would make on a pan is quick to make, and I love it when I am hungry and five minutes later I have something ready to eat. Or maybe I am just lazy
I've always had a weird fascination with rubber spatulas...although I don't even own one, and would probably rarely use it if I did. Other than that, I'd have to go with garlic press.
My rubber spatula seems like it's in the dish washer every day.
I have a all-wooden spatula that seems to live in the sink. I use it so often it always needs a wash and is never in the utensil drawer.
...nice sharp set of knives and garlic press....oh yea...and a nice cork for wine
Chinese cleaver..very versatile
