Nutella Cookbook - The 30 best recipe in one delicious book

Updated on November 4, 2013

30 Mouth Watering Recipes with Nutella

I am quite an impulsive shopper when it comes to cookbooks. If I see a cover I like I usually end up buying the book. As I am a visual type this cookbook appealed to me within seconds and was in my shopping basked even faster. I mean who wouldn't like a book shaped like a Nutella jar - it looks good enough to eat it.

While I do buy a lot of cookbooks, one would expect I cook a lot using them. Well I don't usually. I get my inspirations from them mostly. Nutella cookbook on the other hand was a bit different. I think this is a first cookbook that I bought that in the first week of owning it I made two desserts and am planning on my third one for this week and well maybe even a 4th one. This is the first cookbook I ever had that makes me want to try each and every recipe in it and to do so as soon as possible. One recipe looks more tasty than the other... Well the fact that I am nuts for Nutella might help a little.

Photos used in this article are taken by me.

Why you should get the Nutella Cookbook

As this is the official Ferrero book you can be sure it is very well made. The instructions for the dishes are really straight forward and easy to follow - you have exact measurements to each ingredient and detailed instructions on timing. The photos of the desserts are mouth watering (there's a photo for every recipe).

I have read through all of the desserts and most are very easy to make (I am still a bit afraid of soufle so I won't be making an attempt at it for a while). Some of the recipes will make you want to give yourself a face palm - the ideas are so simple you will hate yourself for not making something like it in the past (hint Nutella rice pudding).

I can't wait to give all of the recipes a go and as all of them look so good it's hard to choose which one to make next... Almost all of them are suitable for beginners so you don't have to fret you won't succeed in making a tasty treat.

Nutella: The 30 Best Recipes: The 30 Best Recipes
30 delicious recipes. I already tried out 2 - the cookie palms and rice pudding. The next thing I am thinking of making is the panna cotta and Creme brulee. A cake is also on the menu as my partner is having a birthday soon and he is, as am I, a Nutella lover. I think this might well be the first cookbook from which I will be making all of the desserts.

What I Already Made

Delicious Palms

They didn't last 10 minutes. Om nom nom.

These little Nutella palm trees were so easy to make (and even easier to eat). We made them a couple of times already and even my partner made a batch - mind you it takes a lot to make him go cook something on his own accord.

Nutella Rice Pudding

It was out of this world and I can't believe how I didn't come up with this idea on my own... They were super tasty hot but were also delicious as a cold dish.

Have you ever tried making something with this delicious brown goodness? Do share your recipes as I would love to try new dishes!
