SUCCULENT TURKEY RECIPE: I got this recipe from one of my instructors at the gym. I'm sure she won't mind my sharing it. I tried it last year, and just as she said it would, it really did make really succulent turkey. Yumm, yumm!

Don't worry:You don't taste the ingredients, but you sure do taste the results.

  • Prep time: 4 hours
  • Cook time: 4 hours
  • Ready in: 8 hours
  • Yields: depends on size of turkey


  • Sherry
  • tomato juice
  • water


  1. Mix ingredients in equal parts.
  2. Baste turkey with mixture every half hour for four hours.
  3. Cook as usual.

      Hi - I like the recipe for succulent turkey except that I cannot eat tomato. Turkey is one of my favorite foods, and I could eat it at least once a week. The organic deli turkey from Whole Foods is tasty. Thanks for sharing this recipe. Blessings, Audrey
