I just came across a Hubber who had a Hubscore of 1.
Strangely, he had written 170+ hubs and was a member for several years. He also has a fairly decent number of followers.
I'm confused how anyone could have such a low Hubscore when he has written TONS of hubs. If I were him I'd feel completely disappointed to have wasted so much time and sweat and effort...
How come his score is that low?
The hubscore doesn't depends upon no of hubs and no of followers. The hub are not of of good quality and no of visitors are less.Hubscore depends upon Amount of traffic, reputation of the Hubber, response of readers to hub, uniqueness of content etc.
It means that he doesn't have quality hubs or has done something that hubpages has programmed the system to disapprove of.
Did you look at any of his hubs?
If the hubs were low quality content, that could be the reason.
Low quality content can include but not be limited to:
-Duplicate content.
-Picture only hubs.
-Short hubs (200 words or less.)
-Text only hubs (with no pictures, polls, feeds etc.)
Well I did look at some. His hubs were decent.
I actually found out about him through a search on Google and his hub showed up. Many of them were in the 50-70s score. I was quite shocked to see his score was 1.
That is as bad as it gets.
Ok, correction - He doesn't have any hub with a score above 70. But he has many in the 60s.
That shouldn't be responsible for his Hubscore of 1?

As everyone knows (unless they have been on a mountainside in Outer Mongolia without their laptop) Google has penalized HP quite hard during their recent updates - one of the major issues is that of low quality articles/hubs on the site bringing down the site as a whole. So now HP is making many...

Ocassionally I like to try and "do my part" and I do some hub hopping. My question about is, how broad is the definition of spam? For example, I see hubs written all the time that are relatively short and appear to just be a "commercial" of sorts for the writers, or...

Google panda is basically a major tweak in search engine algorithm. Its aim is to push the quality web-site up and lower down the ranking of low quality content. Unlike all previous update, Google panda is a domain level penalty. It means even if you have 5-10 low quality content in your site, your...

Hi Everyone!I just noticed my hubscore jumped to 90 over night! I only have 4 hubs? I'm still a bit confused about how this all works. I've looked at MANY hubs the last few days about how to raise hubscores, what they are and etc etc, and from what I understand its a culmination of what you write...

Hey everyone! My name is Brandon and I am a new Hubber from Houston, Texas! I have a brief question about hubscores on the profile and on my articles and how they differ. For example, I noticed today as people read my hubs, my hubscore would rise on the article, but also noticed I still have a...

Do-follow and No-follow backlinks affect our page ranking in google. Is there any relation to our hubscore here on Hubpages? I've been told that there is probably no affect on our hubscore in relation to our backlinks. What do you think? Also has anyone monitored one of their pages and frequently...
