Actually It's after 12 where I am, so I wrote it yesterday. I'm very excited so I'm up late and just completed my 2nd Hub. Please take a look at them and let me know what I should do to improve. I think the first one needs more than one photo. The topic of the first Hub is a downer (domestic violence), but it needed to be written. My second Hub is much lighter and can benefit all people. I'm happy to be here and hope to be a boon to the site. It seems like a fabulous community of writers!
I read your first hub, It's amazing, and so powerful and inspirational! I love the way you wrote with such hard hitting honesty. Really well done! I know you asked for constructive criticism, but honestly I wouldn't change a thing, I think you have a gear writing style and your story and message is a very important one that will hopefully give strength to others in similar situations! Well done! LF x
congratulations on your first hub . i also am working on my first hub and i will be so happy when i get it completed. i look forward to reading you hubs
welcome to HP and congrats on your kick off.
You can post your hublinks here for critiques without any hesitation this is what this forum is for.
I read your hubs, nice hubs. I think you are a good writer for the next. Keep it up. I am waiting for your next hubs.
Congratulations on the first hub. I have just read it and must say very well written. I would not change anything if I was you.
Oh by the way I am sure you will have fun here.
Congrats on taking that first step on an exciting hubventure!
Thanks so much everyone. Your comments mean a lot to me.
Tina
On the ACV hub:
Make sure each text capsule has a title, using some form of your keywords. Not only are the keywords bolded that way, google looks at the titles.
The large centered pics are a distraction. Better to keep them smaller, and probably flushed right.
I can't imagine what it would be, but perhaps a video of some sort. Maybe a news capsule about ACV? Something to keep the reader occupied on the hub for more time.
I realize it's premature right now, but as you get more hubs, you will want to link them together, probably with both text and RSS links. Just make sure that any text links, in particular, are relevant to each other.
On the humor side, the first thing I saw was the now familiar huge, moving adsense ad for a tiny belly! At least it was appropriate.

It's been a little less than exactly 10 months since I published my first featured hub. Today I published my 100th featured hub. It debuted with a high hub score. I kept up the pace of 10 a month.Today I a giving myself a pat on the back. I expect I will have my first payout this month as well....

I wrote it in my 2010 Calendar a year ago, so I would know when I hit my one year mark. I was figuring out what I wanted to accomplish tomorrow and when I turned the page I saw the 1 year notation and my goals for the year.A year ago my goals were 300 hubs and make $500 a month - and get a lot of...

MG Singh wrote a hub on gun control in the U.S. There are a lot of comments on it. I also wrote a comment, with my opinion (which had its origins in a research paper I wrote for a public health class a couple of years ago).Jackburton had already written a comment that was almost a hub in itself....
