There is a Hubber who is the founder of Kontera - I admire him for joining us.

I have turned off Kontera every chance I can.  Would like to learn more.

Nobody is answering my exact question. Please get back on the subject. That's one of the reasons I don't ask a question that often. The thread has gotten away from what I asked.

      Hi revmjm,

This is Jonathan from Kontera (the community manager, though for what it's worth I know the founder wink

Anyway, the way you make money through Kontera is by signing up as a Kontera publisher, and by placing your Kontera publisher number on your HubPages Affiliate page.  Kontera ads will start appearing over your content; when readers scroll over a highlighted word and click on the ad, you'll get 70% of the revenue generated by that ad.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

The answer to your question (and many, many others) can be found in the FAQ or the Learning Center.  Both places have information about Kontera, and the rest of the royalty programs available here.

Thanks for your answers, but I have done exactly what I was instructed to do, but nothing has happened yet. I signed up for AdSense the same way and have seen results.

It can take up to 24 hours for the ads to begin to appear. Additionally, you'd have to make sure your signed out of HubPages account to see them.

I took a quick look at the HTML of your Hubs, and everything appears to be set up fine.

      Thanks,

      - Jonathan

Thanks, Jonathan. I signed up two weeks ago. That's why I was wondering why I haven't seen any results.

It looks like links have been showing up on your content since January 20th, though I'm not sure if that's on your Hubs or your Way of Life website.

(Technically your supposed to have a different Kontera tag for everyone of your sites, you can set up a second Kontera tag for your Hubs by contacting our support team at support@kontera.com )

That being said, I just saw you Kontera ads live on this Hub:  http://hubpages.com/hub/Being-At-The-Ri … Right-Time

Thanks, Jonathan,  for your diligent work in helping me solve this issue. However, I didn't sign up for Kontera to be on my personal website. I am glad you saw the live ad on my hub. That means I am set and people are just not clicking on them. Hope you clicked on the one you saw. (smile)

Instead of contacting support every time we add new site or tag, why not let us do it on user dashboard. Also is there any chance that publishers will be able to see all-time earning feature this year ?

      Hi Skyfire,

To the best of my knowledge, there's currently no plans for an all-times earning feature, though anytime you're curious about that information, you can contact us at support@kontera.com and we'll happily provide it.

Regarding, letting you add a new site directly from the dashboard, because we work directly with advertisers we have to respect their sensitivities, so we're looking at new site submissions, not only to optimize them, but to double check that their content is a good match for our network.

Kontera has a lower click through rate than Adsense because they are 'non visible' advertisements, someone needs to mouse over them for them to appear.

This means you will not earn as much through Kontera, but it is a nice addition to Adsense earnings.

It is also important to point out that you cannot see Kontera ads on Hubpages when you are logged in.
