    "Lord" (tongue-in-cheek) knows I try!
"Perfection" just seems to elude me in everything I try!
Shall I stop trying for perfection and just accept my "imperfection?"

Perfection is boring Qwark. It's our flaws that make us interesting!

      Perfection is an illusion.

However, attainment of not being a general mess is doable. smile

But even assembly line products are not perfect. Everything is flawed in some way or another. >.<

Wholeness seems far more appealing to me than perfection.
Perfection sounds like hell to me.

You are right on about trying to attain perfection will drive you nuts. It's an illusion. The earth is a general mess and so is the universe. Black holes eating stars and solar systems...carnivorous place, this universe. It has to be "perfect" as it is, because there isn't anything else. Same with us.

Amen. Can I have a hallelujah in the house?!
        wink

      Miss:
Are you a graduate of the college of the "Imaculate Perfection?"
I looked for the tel# on Google and can't find it?
      Is the tuition affordable?
      Questions, questions.....lol smile:

Why yes I am.  I got my BS degree there.  The tuition was a little steep but perfection......priceless.  In the words of one of my favorite bands,

        "Look here she comes now
Bow down and stare in wonder
        Oh how we love you
        No flaws when you're pretending........."

        big_smile Great song about "perfection".

I suppose you can't hear the sarcasm in my typing.  My mistake.  You also seem to have missed my play on words (hint:look up the many different meanings for the abbreviation BS) or have no idea what the message in that songs is.  Look it up.  It's called Everybody's Fool by Evanescence.  BTW....do you think before you type?  Just wondering..............

"Perfect" is a perception.  If there was perfection, there would no longer be a reason for the 'perfect' object to exist.
To evolve is the only reason for anything to exist.

    qwark, qwark, qwark, (shaking head)

As there are no absolutes, perfect cannot exist.

Tis better to do your best and say to hell with the rest!
