Only have a profile score of 8?

   Hey everyone, still learning my way around here.
   
   Okay this is actually two questions:
   
   Are all published hubs featured after undergoing the assessment process? Because all 9 of mine are, and yet my Profile score seems to be dropping by the hour.
   
   Is there something that I'm not doing that I should?
   
   And the second question is kinda unrelated, so sorry. Does anyone know why the S.O.B's at Adsense would instantly deny my application?

      Not all hubs will be featured after undergoing the assessment process, it all depends on if they meet the required standards or not (as per the TOS here and on Adsense).
      
      If you only have a handful of hubs right now you are unlikely to get approved by Adsense. Try to publish between 10 and 20 quality hubs before applying again. Not only will this give Adsense (Google) a chance to determine your writing is of good quality, but it also gives your hubs time to be 'found' by the bots and get indexed. Right now you probably haven't given it long enough, and should wait about 6 weeks before applying again (during which time keep writing and publishing).
      
      Also don't worry too much about Hubber Score so early on. In general it really isn't important, although you do want to get to 75 or more in order for any outgoing links on your hubs to be 'Do Follow'. This takes time, but in the meantime avoid committing any of the cardinal sins like 'mass following' of loads of other hubbers trying to get more followers in return. I do have a hub on the main mistakes new hubbers make but am not allowed to link to it here. If you want to read it I am sure you can track it down from my profile page.

And to add to that, I want to add that Hubs are not just Featured based on their adherance to our TOS and ad policy, but reviewed (by humans AND algorithms) per our rating criteria (substance, organization, grammar).
