   This week’s Rising Star nominees can be found on the following Topic Pages:

   3. Family and Parenting
   
   Be sure to stop by each one and vote for your favorites! It’s a great way to support promising new talent in our community.
   
   We also recommend considering the following new Topic Pages when composing Hubs this week:
   
   1. Yarn and Needles for Knitting
   2. Mechanical Engineering
   3. Best Friends
   4. Windows Phone
   5. Hydro Energy
   
   Because the pages contain relatively few Hubs, any Hub published within these categories (be sure, of course, that it is truly related) is more likely to be prominently featured. Mechanical Engineering has not yet reached the threshold of 5 or more featured Hubs, which is why it does not have a link. When that threshold is reached, a Topic Page will automatically be created, giving all its featured very high visibility on that Topic Page.

      Just click on the links for the three Topics. Each Topic has a separate voting interface for its candidates.
      
      This week's contest finished yesterday, but voting for next week's will start on Friday.
