Hello hubbers; if you know about gadgets, please help me.

My son likes to use earbuds with wires but they are always breaking. He mentioned wanting wireless headphones and I'd like to get it for him so I don't have to keep replacing ones with wires.

He would use them for mainly  Ipod (music, videos, movies, etc.) and PC (games, youtube). So I need one that is compatible with those things.

We also have a Samsung tablet & Kindle Fire in the house he uses sometimes, and the kids have stuff like little hand-held nintendo games and playstation type games and such. So brownie points if they work with any (or all) of those as well.

Rechargeable would be ideal so I don't have to keep replacing batteries every week.

He doesn't need it for a cell phone. Just for what is mentioned- mainly the Ipod. I'm looking on amazon but I have NO IDEA what I'm reading. It's Greek to me.

Can anyone who understands what I'm looking for tell me what I'm supposed to be looking for? Or even better, link to the kind I'm looking for on Amazon? I'm soooo confused!!!

I'm looking to spend no more than $100 but I'm flexible-- I'd rather have something quality than something that won't last.

Thank you to all who help! Take one:

I am far from being a earbud expert, do not use them myself. I have found some information that may help you. First, a page of reviews, which gives some useful information: http://wireless-earbuds-review.toptenreviews.com/

You want to look for the range of the device, the working distance. Look for the recharging ability/time. Replacable ear pieces will help, they can wear out quickly.

Most of these devices are listed as working with phones and other equipment. Just make sure the listing includes the equipment you want to use.

I am not using affiliate links. Just regular Amazon links.

You have not been jumped on. "Regular," Amazon links are affiliate links. You are only allowed to use the Amazon modules. HP does not get a share of "regular" Amazon links. big_smile

Sorry, I would not get a share of what I posted either. However, I think I will just avoid all of it. Better that way.

Amazon.com has some wire that are Corded, like a woven wrapped around the inside wiring for headsets and more. They last much longer and it keeps from tangled wire from breaking.
Note. If the wires for headsets, speakers to your sound system or just charging cables, try Not to twist or wrap them much, the copper and other wires will break. This is when you get One speaker working while the other cracking sounds.
