Has anyone else experienced these black tar like pebbles that seem to pro create over and over again on the sides of my RV? And if so, how do I clean them off for good? Seems I have to use my finger nails to remove them ,and is a very timely job. Along with soap and water. I do park next to a row of Areca Palm trees. Coinsedence ?
You could try asking Randy Godwin, who is a major specialist in RV. Unfortunately, he is banned for life from the forums so you'll need to message him or send a comment to one of his hubs.
Go to his profile, click fan mail and select "send a message"

Alternatively, here is one of his hubs that is relevant to your question. If you don't find the answer you need, just ask him by creating a comment to the hub

I have been RVing for more than 50 years and have never heard of any coach having a problem like this.
It may be that there is sap dropping from the trees near your parking spot or might be some sort of chemical reaction with your paint.
If you go online you can find the phone number of the company that manufactures your coach and speak with their people about this.
I would try covering one side of the coach with cardboard where you find these spots the most often. Wait and see if they pick up the same markings. If so, it's coming from the tree.
Either park elsewhere or buy a cover that will protect your coach. Good luck.
It's called artillery fungus, and comes from mulch. It can jump 20 feet and stick to siding, cars, houses etc. I have to remove the mulch that is 6 feet away from my RV.
Wow, that is a new one! Never heard of such a thing before, but am glad you discovered the problem and will now be able to eliminate it.
for my car that had black spots, I used Jungle Jake a commercial degreaser that I purchased at Fleet Farm. I used a microfiber cloth and used it in some water. It worked for me. . Perhaps it will work for someone else.
