Some Articles on Hubpages Are Above Some on Vertical Sites in Ranking

    With its ranking, It simply tells me that if this article is on one of the vertical sites, it could have generated much more traffic. However, I'm still finding it difficult to figure out why it is ranking better than the one below.
    In fact, on my mobile device, it is #1 in big G for that search term "best retirement speech for boss" while that on vertical site is #6

      Your results may be skewed if you are logged into to Google because it bases results on your own browsing and search history. Try using a search engine called StartPage which uses the Google algorithm but is 'neutral'. When I use that, the Toughnickel site comes out above the HubPages one.

        There's one of my articles on the main site now getting 150 views (on average) per day.
