By writing.....
All books begin with an idea, then that idea spills over into many ideas that get divided into chapters and it is best to just write everything and don't stop until you feel drained of writing and then go back to your writing and edit your draft.
Top authors say that they have to go back and re-write 3 or 4 drafts before they feel that the work is up to scratch...
Good luck!
just sit down when the idea comes and write. . . Set a little time per day. . I'm a beginner but is what I do. . Also I read out loud what i.ve done and change and again and again . . I bet you get carried away like I do x
You could start with "Once upon a time . . ." Or with "It was a dark and stormy night . . ."
Or you could do what a lot of authors do: Start anywhere, then fill in the blanks.
Some writers like to follow a pre-planned outline and others like the story to unfold naturally without knowing what is going to happen. Everyone does it differently, but I'll bet that few actually start at the beginning.
List subjects that interest you.
Think about your past experiences from childhood to now (funny stories, heavy situations, relationships, falling love, breaking up, or things you are aware of that happened to others, news articles or magazine articles that touched you in one way or another...etc
The first book is usually close to the author's heart either a work of "fiction" even it is based on reality with name changes.
Another option is to write about something you know a lot about to the point where you could either teach or offer advice. "How to..."
Lastly you might keep a notebook on your nightstand to record any dreams you might have had which can be turned into a story.
Best of luck!
Research! Pick a subject. Read as many books as possible on that subject. Read everything you can find on the internet. After you've collected as much information as possible, let your subconscious mind give you the best angle to write about. It's easier to write about a subject when you already have plenty of ideas instead of trying to use only what you now have in your memory. A lot of top writers use this method. Stephen King talks about it on youtube. You can also find other bestselling writers on youtube who will give you their techniques. You will also notice that most books are not really new ideas. They are combinations of various ideas that have already been published. They are arranged and presented in a new way. That's how they seem original. Actually, everybody has influences. If you have several good influences and you use the best ideas, you will come up with something extraordinary.

Are you suffering from what is called the 'Writer's block'?For months I have been unable to write something on hubpages. I have had brilliant ideas but I end up procrastinating and telling myself that those ideas are best left to be written later for the book I intend to write someday. In the...

Probably the best advice I could ever give anybody is not to write about what nobody cares about. So I was happy to see that the writing cooperative mentioned that in this article.https://writingcooperative.com/stop-wri … 09567c04f0The difficulty, of course, is knowing what people want to...

When I first started to write i noticed that I always had the feeling that I just had to hurry up and write my story before someone else did, thinking that someone may have had the same idea that i was having for a story and I wanted to be the first one to get it down on paper. This way of thinking...

How do you generate ideas to write about? For example, I take words and look up their definition. Any idea that pops into my head I write about, or try to form a story around. Sometimes I will take latin words and work them into a story, too. How do you form ideas for articles or hubs?

What should I write about?
