Is it better to have a keyboard and mouse to a laptop separately?
Yes it is because a standard mouse and keyboard is much more ergonomic than a laptop keyboard and mouse. That means that if you use your laptop a lot then oyur head and neck are better protected.

I believe it depends on what you are using the laptop for, if you are using the laptop as a home based computer or as your main source of computer availability then I would say that using a keyboard and mouse is a very good idea due to the fact that it will cut down on the wear and tear of using the keys and pad all the time. But if you don't use your laptop all the time and or traveling a lot with it then I would say that it wouldn't be a good idea because it would be cumbersome to pack it and connect it every time you use the laptop when you travel.
not for me, it just becomes too complicated setting it up every where you go. There is nothing better than pulling out your laptop and getting right to work. No setting up is needed
I agree with amsmoving. I use my laptop keyboard now, because I sit in a lounge chair to type, but I'm seriously thinking of setting up at a desk and preserving my keyboard by buying an external one to use on a daily basis. That way, my laptop keyboard stays in good shape for when I absolutely have to use it.

Does anyone else find that your computer can't keep up with your typing?I am not sure if it is my keyboard or my computer, but if I start typing fast I have to go back and fix mistakes because it doesn't register me hitting the keys. I have a Toshiba laptop. Does anyone have any suggestions?
