    Is a puppy harder to take care of then a full grown dog?

    Some people say puppys are harder to take care of is that true?Why?

    Yes, puppies are much more energetic and have no training. Even by getting an untrained full-grown dog you would have less of a chance of the dog chewing things, because puppies are still teething.

    Think of it as humans, do newborns require more care than adults ? of course they do. for the same reasons as dogs do

    If your knowledge of dogs is such that you need to ask this I suggest that you do considerable studying before getting either a puppy or an adult.
    An animal is a big responsibility and they aren't wind up toys. If you want a pet that requires less maintenance consider a cage animal such as a hamster or maybe a cat.
    All dogs big or small of any age require a big commitment of time and resources every day.
