   I have no specific ones that I think it is worst since I usually try every RPG for a while, if I feel it is interesting I will keep playing. If not I will just give up. So there is no worst RPG I ever played, they were deleted at the very beginning^>^

   i agree about what howardhe said, i tried and there wasn't any worse but just ones not as interesting to play.  some rpg i found boring, others loved.  maybe i have bad taste lol but now you got me looking into eve online, was going to bring the wow acc back but i was told there are more people looking to socialize then to play.  so no worse game here but if i had to throw one under the bus it would be everquest 2, i liked the first one though

   There's been a few. I can't remember them all clearly. Eternal Phantasia was one. Had a great premise, but felt weak gameplay wise and was overly generic.
   
   Baten Kaitos. Which has a decent premise and an alright, battle system. These two things were the games only strong points. Which aren't that strong to begin with. The game has horrible voice acting, weak dialogue at times, a dull story, boring characters, a difficulty spike out of nowhere, and poor music choices at times. Did I mention horrible voice acting? There were moments, I honestly wished there was no voice acting. That's how bad it was. And I've heard some really bad dubs in my time, they just don't compare to Baten Kaitos.
   
   Some of the dialogue is pretty messed up. I'm not sure what the characters are actually saying when they use their specials. But for one move Kalas does, I'm pretty sure he says "..Sword style...to the store!" I could be mishearing it, but it's what my friends have heard him say as well.
   
   I quit playing, when I reached a point where I had to fight three bosses at once. That's when the game took a leap in difficulty. There was no easing into that. No real way to prepare. And as I recall, no way to back track to get items and give yourself time to level up.
   
   I'm surprised I played that long. Well, the battle system was interesting. I suppose that's the main reason I played the game as long as I did.
   
   If there was a Rotten Tomatoes for video games, you can bet Baten Kaitos would be on it with a high score.

   I have to agree with Howardhe and snoblet. I think that most rpgs are fairly good, it just depends on if  can get into the game. If I'm not being sucked in I just kinda give up. Though, the one RPG I just couldn't get into at all was Star Ocean Till the End of time. I just could not get sucked into the story and I couldn't really understand the battle system that well.

   I agree with majority of responses, it depends on if an rpg can draw you in from the beginning. I say the worst for me had to be final fantasy 13. I know i may get a lot of flack but the story was linear and it didn't have that final fantasy feel to it

   There have been some horrible ones, but I think I'll go with Final Fantasy X-2. Not only was it bad, it completely crapped on the story of an amazing game. When your game is so bad that it negatively affects OTHER games, something is very wrong.

   FFX-2 guy must not have played many bad RPG's. Don't get me wrong X-2 is a fail in the story telling department just because it's way too goofy for it's own good, but far from the worst JRPG out there.
   
   Let see here Inuyasha for the DS has to be the worst RPG I have ever played. You play has a young girl from America who get stuck in the Inuyasha world from the anime and has to explore feudal japan with her best friend Kagome and her bad boy boyfriend (he's a half demon if you haven't watch the anime) so you can beat some evil demon who is not Naraku, and save your parents from another life. The story is convultued and not nearly has fun has the anime (love or hate the PS2 Inuaysha RPG it at least had some of the fun from the anime) but worst is the enemy encounter rate is higher then most NES games RPG, every 2 steps you get attacked. Woulden't be bad but you can't run either unlike most RPG's only a single character runs away when run is hit, again a few other RPG's do this but the character who runs is counted has alive if the rest of the party falls. In this game if all the characters but say useless *&(& Shippo run away and then Shippo being worthless like he is gets killed it's game over. Sure the rest of my team may be at full health but it counts has a game over. The game is just a pain to play, and I think I would rather inhale a large vat of Naraku's posinus miasma then play that game through again.

      Wrong. I have played many truly bad RPGs. However, as bad as they were, when I turn them off, that's it. No lingering feelings of resentment. Because they're self-contained. X-2 craps on the legacy of a great game, though. There IS resentment for it.
