   I found that one hubber whose hub links I had shared in my hubs never responded.
   
   Sometime back and for some days I got quite a few views from tha said hubbers' hubpage.
   Now I find that  the said hubber has been banned. What do I make of this?
   I've been geeting broken links in my hubs ever since and am removing the broken links.

   It sounds like that hubber had major issues of some sort. Although annoying that you have to remove the broken links, I wouldn't take it personally: stuff happens. Perhaps that hubber was kicked off the site for some reason. Perhaps they got a new job or family member and are suddenly far too busy to participate in HubPages... It could be any reason.
   
   I wrote an article for an organization that ended up closing up shop, and I had to go back and delete the links to it and unpublish that hub. They were a great non-profit, too, and I hated to do it, but what else could I have done? It wasn't my fault they closed their doors.

   I agree with Laura. If the hubber was banned then it's an issue with HP and them so remove the links and just move on.

   I had linked out to someone's hub and that person removed their hubs so I had the "broken" link icon.  The only thing to do is to take the time to go in and remove the link altogether or find a related hub to link to!

   Yeah this kind of thing just happens, I have had several hubs I link to for whatever reason go away.  At least hubpages is great and that when you open a page and click edit the offending link is highlighted in yellow, otherwise you would have to go and check all the links manually which is a royal pain.  Its a better experience for your visitors as well if they go to a dead page it reflects on yourself.

   When there are similar hubs written to the topics of my interest, I read them, leave comment and/or vote and follow it. Sometimes, when I come back to it at a later date, the hub is gone or the hubber is gone.  I learned in the first year I joined HP that linking to others who are not well established was a mistake for me and I have stopped doing it. I make my followers public, but I don't promote their hubs anymore with links.  I leave fan mail and comments and hopefully that is acceptable.  I'm sorry you had this experience with that hubber, but once burned, twice shy is a hard lesson.  I love your hubs. Keep up the great work!
