Which Call of Duty has the best multiplayer experience?

Personally i think it simply goes by preference. I would rather play a multiplayer with a  lot of people, so for me the most current call of duty is the best, because that is where you will find the most people to play against. So right now I am a fan of MW3, next fall ill be a fan of Black ops 2, but i also enjoy Black ops, for the zombies. SO overall as far as just multiplayer goes, for me, its the most current version of call of duty which right now, is Modern Warfare 3.

It depends what you're into. Right now, I'm really into MW3 survival mode and co-op missions. However, the online multiplayer is absolutely broken. It is almost as bad as modern warfare 2.

So, if you're looking for the complete package, go to black ops. In my opinion, Zombies is not as good as survival, but it has a much more intact multiplayer game that will not have you flinging controllers across the room.

The problem is, they are all almost the exact same experience. I know call of duty has a fanbase, though.

I know I'm six months late to this party but if you don't want more answers close the question. I say CoD2 on the XBOX 360 for its fun community, simple in-out games and you don't need to worry about balance or map design. It inspired imagination and parkour-esque play, not just going up a ladder and camping every few minutes.
