   What are other innovative 'B' movies like the 1975 release of Death Race 2000?
   
   Sure, it is campy but I love it!  What other movies like this one do you recommend?

   I'm not sure this is exactly what you're looking for, but Mad Max (1979) is pretty fun. It's set in a dystopian future where the rules of society have crumbled and gangs roam the country, virtually unchecked. It's basically a revenge/ road movie. It's nice and campy, low budget, and over the top, and perhaps the only good thing Mel Gibson has ever done.

   I wouldn’t necessarily call them all B movies, but some others you might enjoy include Blade Runner, A Clockwork Orange, Grindhouse (Death Proof), Mad Max, Rollerball (1975), The Warriors, Westworld, The Wicker Man, and Brazil.

   Tempting though it may be to give you the standard list (Rocky Horror Picture Show, anybody?) I shall resist.  As I'm not quite sure what you're looking for, the few that come to mind are C.H.U.D., Troll 2, Hard Ticket to Hawaii, Cannibal Holocaust, and Grindhouse.  These fall into the 'so bad they're good' category. 
   
   If you're looking for something a bit more high-brow, you might check out Captain Kidd, East of Borneo, Night and Fog, Utopia, The Brother from Another Planet, and Kiss Me Deadly.   These are considered classics, even cult classics, by the not-so-much-B-Movie-as-obscure-movie club.
