   What would happen if there was not electricity for one month?
   
   What if the whole world is without electricity for one full month? Total darkness and no any kind of electricity at all.

   Most people would be cooking out, going to sleep early, taking cold showers, using candle and flash lights just when there is a power outage.  All your food in your refrigerator would be in the garbage.

      Thanks addingsense yes it would be pretty difficult to keep food fresh without electricity.

   no idea my friend . But i really believe that after one month people will sleep soon. night clubs, and pubs at night will be stopped.

   No internet, businesses closed. People rioting, breaking into stores, homes, and God knows what else. Rapes, murders, no police, chaos, AKA the Apocalypse

   If this was very localised, people would get help, they may be temporarily relocated to another area that isn't affected. If it happened over a wide enough area there would be total meltdown.
   
   This may not just be an academic question. I read an article recently about super solar flares. These happen every few centuries and would be enough to knock out electricity for weeks or months (by frying all the transistors). One happened in the 19th century (pre widespread electricity) that messed up telegraph systems. If it happened today over North America, it would have been total lights out for weeks over an area hundreds of miles across.
