Is anyone excited about Mists of Pandaria?

I'm looking forward to World of Warcraft's next expansion, but only because I enjoy the game as a whole. This expansion in particular, however, doesn't seem to be doing anything new other than art style. Maybe I'll change my mind when I get my hands on it, but is there anyone else out there who is looking forward to its release in September?

I'm not particularly looking forward to it, no. I've been playing and been into hard-core raiding since Vanilla, and I've found Wrath and Cataclysm to be progressively worse in terms of challenging end-game content. From reports I've heard from the beta, Wrath seems to be continuing on the trend of making the game easier so the content is more accessible - a noble cause, but for me, it makes the game significantly less fun. Unless Mists has something to offer in the way of challenging content, I don't foresee my subscription lasting into 2013.

Gah, I just noticed a typo: Mists* seems to be continuing the trend - not Wrath.

After they nerfed WoW, destroyed single player on SC2, and totally failed with D3... Blizzard is dead to me. So, No big_smile

I can wait, but I was really looking forward to it a few months back. My excuse for being un-excited is "too little, too late". Keep teasing me and I'll not be interested in the big reveal. We all knew it was coming some time soon, and it wasn't a shock when the first trailer was announced. I was glad the game comes out in September 25th though. Hopefully this can redeem some of the mistakes the veterans of the game have complaints about.

I wasn't very excited at first. When they announced it, I wasn't sure I was going to continue playing. However, I own a guild and its gotten pretty big and successful so I'm going to keep on playing.

BUT! I did start playing the beta, and I actually am starting to get a little bit excited. The new zones are pretty, and pet battles are fun. I'm a big collector so the wild pets are intriguing to me.

Might not be the best expac, but I'm still fairly excited, yes.

I always enjoy expansions simply for the new content. I enjoy questing on new zones & leveling professions. It's always fun to get some epic gear before others. I enjoy it when people ask me where I got an item.

At first I was a little upset with the company. It appears they are trying to market to younger players with the addition of pandas. Oh well, I still love the game.
