What is your favorite recipe you make for your family?

My favorite recipe is Easy peazy Chicken pot pie.  It's so easy and so so good.
    One can chicken chunks.
    1 can peas
1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/2 cup cream
    1 ready made pie crust
    1 can refrigerator biscuits

In a large bowl, combine cream, cream of chicken soup mix together well till smooth. Add 1 can chicken meat chunks, 1 can peas strained. fold in.
pre-bake pie crust in a 350 F oven for about 15 minutes. Pour in chicken mix smooth out and level. place biscuits on top to form the top crust, bake 15-20 minutes till inner temp is 165 F , Its so good

My favorite recipe to make for my family is baked potato soup.  It's so easy to make and taste as good as the one you get in restaurants.

Well, that depends on my mood and the time of year. Right now, it's probably Easy Cheesy Calzones. I had to say that because it sounds like Easy Peazy Chicken Pot Pie! By the way, that sounds yummy. :   )

We like Chili.  I was going to make chili one night and discovered I didn't have any tomatoes.  I did have a jar of Frog Salsa.  So I made "Easy peazy Chili".  Using salsa instead of tomatoes makes a great Chili.  Brown hamberger, use your own spices or use a packet of Chili spice mix, add kidney beans and  the salsa.  Let it simmer and you are done.  Now I always make it that way.

This is the best way to make chili. I use the black bean with white corn salsa in mine. Great recipe.

I love to cook more in the winter. We grill a lot in the summer with lots of fresh fruits and veggies. But in the winter I make homemade lasagna. I love to make it meatless  with eggplant but usually use ground turkey or lean ground beef.

Have you grilled your Eggplant for your meatless Lasagna? That imparts such a great flavor.

We go through phases. At the moment the family favorite is coconut curry. Super easy and so yummy. It also changes depending on what we have in the fridge. Veggies, chicken, beef, potatoes... whatever needs to be used up goes in the curry and it's served over a bed of rice.  I have a hub on it ^_^
Your chicken pot pie sounds yummy! I will have to give it a try.

I really really dislike cooking so this is my husband's favorite, I can take it or leave it:  Rice-a-roni and add a pound of browned ground beef to it - cook them together 20 minutes.  Tasty, but really full of sodium.

I make my own home made Rice a roni, saves money cause I can make a serving using 1 cup rice 1/2 cup thin spaghetti or vermicelli broke up. I use either chicken soup stock or beef stock (canned) just cook as you would rice -a- roni

It depends on the temp outside. But this dish never has any left overs. It's veggie rice.
You can use instaint or long cooking rice. Either way, put in 1/2 cup more water, add your salt, then put in either fresh veggies or frozen. the best is peas, carrots, broccoli, corn, celery. Cut veggies in very small pices, once veggies are done strain water from veggies and use the water for the rice.If you need more water for the rice add stock either chicken or beef depending on what your having for dinner. Once rice is done, add boiled veggies and serve, top with butter.

The recipe I make for my family and that is loved by them is fried chicken. I usually add lime, salt, chilly powder, turmeric powder, pepper, ginger paste and garlic paste to the chicken pieces and then fry it in oil.

Do you bread the chicken first, and are these chicken pieces like breast leg thigh, or are they just random chunks.??  It sound great.
