Do campaign worker get paid? How?
Do campaign workers get paid? If so how much and by whom?
The smart ones do. Axelrod will be able to retire quite comfortably, win or lose this election.
The stupid ones are suckered by the emotional hype. They give their time and talent to a pied piper pol's campaign as volunteers, Internet ralliers, headquarters workers, etc. What could be more mindless than that?
The higher ups certainly do - campaign managers, field directors, communications directors, etc. However, there are lots of "grassroots" people who are volunteers and don't get paid at all.
Most campaign workers do not get paid and do it as volunteer work but some campaign workers are paid and these are through funds collected by the campaign.

In my never-ending quest to use factoids as conversation starters:Until the 1980s, corporate CEOs were paid, on average, 30 times what their average worker was paid. Since then, CEO pay has skyrocketed to 280 times the pay of an average worker; in big companies, to 354 times. But since the 1980s,...

The ad said: "Reason # 2 to Hub: Get paid to blog." I'm not sure what that means, but it seems as if it might mislead people about the difference between a hub and a blog.
