   I love the Harry Potter series. The stories are well-written, engaging, creative and an excellent choice for readers of many ages. I highly recommend them.

   Absolutely. I personally think they're so much better than the Twilight series too... Harry Potter is so much more well written, and it isn't just about teenage romance which is nice, there's actually a story to it. The imagination level is great as well; when you can read an entire 7-series book without ever wanting to stop, I think that says something great

   I really enjoyed the Harry Potter series and so did my kids. A great story with so much imagination, the whole series takes you to another place which is what you want when you are reading. The way J K Rowling intersperses a fantasy world of wizardry with "real life" was great. Taking the Hogwarts Express from Platform 9 & 3/4 at Kings Cross Station is just one example of this and there are many more instances throughout the series. Highly recommended reading.

   Of course. I love the Harry Potter movies better than the books. Yes, the novels are great. But the films are even better. Reminds me that I need to rent a few of them so my hubby can finally watch them all.

   I've never read them, because they're for children. But I am happy for the series because it got adults who don't typically read to start reading again.

      Old Empresario I would strongly suggest you give the Potter series a read. I started reading them out loud to my kids and after The Sorcerer's Stone they became more complex. Yes, it's easy reading, but Rowling has done a masterful job.
