How could anyone (an adult) start a viable business under $5? It's a stretch, but is it possible?
Of course all business fees and licenses have been accounted for since this is a hypothetical situation. What creative solutions could you give this person?
Very possible with websites like Fiverr. Depending on what your skills are, you can basically start a business with no money down at all.
The only hurdle is that any ideas that you can think of off the top of your head have probably already been exploited, so it will be even harder for the business to take off compared to something that might be considered truly unique.
It's possible depending on what you want to do and how resourceful you are with creating your own basics. For example, and email address costs nothing. You can create a nice business card and hand them out to get your name and product out there. You may not even need a website right away. Sometimes tasting a product (pound cakes or cookies) goes a longer way than seeing a picture of it online. If you do it right, you can multiply that $5 in no time.
Anyone at HubPages signed up for monetizing a hub and writes a singular hub achieves that where the cost is effort itself. At question is investment, effort, cost, profit, and Return on Investment.
Selling your services is typically low cost if you approach people around you and sell yourself on word of mouth.
