Under what US Precidency....
Under what Presidents term(s) did America have a great economy, no wars, better education, lower poverty, lower crime rate and good foreign relations?
I would say under Nixon we had great foreign affairs that helped our economy boost with our imports and exports. Ronald Reagan in the 80's we had a very prosperous economy.
Awesome choices Matt! We did have excellent foreign affairs under Nixon. I was not around for Nixon. I was born the year Ronald Reagan took office, so I know only what I have read in history books, and through research.
Thank you Cynthia for your feed back. on my comment.
John Quincy Adams...no wars of any kind during his four years in office. He took his oath on a law book rather than the Bible. He proposed a national university, a national observatory, exploratory missions and a botanical research center (didn't get any of it of course). He had great foreign relations, being a professional diplomat. Sadly, his successor was a rich general who could barely read or write and who represented the interests of the slaveholders.

Why is it so many of our Presidents are racists?Clearly, Richard Nixon was, at least, more obviously and outwardly racist than Ronald Regan, but clearly, Reagan also felt it was okay to denigrate non-whites, as his conversation with Nixon shows.https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archi …...

The November jobs numbers came out and are very strong. There is a simple historical fact at play here: Presidents get credit when the economy is strong and blame when it is weak. As much as conservatives may hate it, many saw Obama succeeding in this way and that's why he won a second term. The...
