    Hello,

I have found a high paying keyword with low competition but not a lot of traffic. So when i went on google traffic estimator I was expecting it to show 1 or 2 clicks a day but it came up with 150-200 clicks a day.

This can't be right can it?????

Of course it can be right. smile
200 clicks out of millions in a day? Sure!
High paying keywords are tough to play with. It they got tons of traffic, they would not be so high paying...
So keep your bar low when you use them, in terms of traffic. You won't get a ton! smile

Okay I'm not getting this. I was approved for the adsense but there is no google ads in my hubs? Do I have to paste each hub url to adsense or what? I'm totally lost...

Google automaticly post ads in your hubs. Even if you don't have adsense you will still have google ads in your hubs.

Maybe you have not selected the box that says: This hub may be considerd commercial.

(No I have it checked. Do you see google ads in my hubs? Did I manage to get them disappear just from my browser? Totally confused once again.)

Well it was my firefox browser, I guess I have adblock running. So did I understand right, I don't have to do anything if my adsense account is status: active?

I was approved 9 days ago, have almost 1000 hits in my hubs but adsense tells zero? How long do you have to wait and how many hits you need to actually make any money?

    Thanks if someone can help!

I don't think there is a formula that can predict how a hub or series of hubs will do financially. Some hubs will have lots of traffic but if its not the right kind of traffic they will not be clicking, likewise some hubs might not get much traffic but with how its written and such that traffic will click most of the time you will just have to wait for it tho....

you might have to set up a channel id in your adsense account to track your hubpages. go to adsense setup, then click channels, then click on URL channels, add hubpages.com. This should tell you how many clicks and page views to your hubpage articles.

Even without a channel setup, AdSense would still show impressions.

Kirsib - did you put your AdSense Publisher ID into your affiliate settings in your HubPages account?

Be sure you are looking at the right volume numbers.  The google tool will give and estimate of monthly search volume.

I must be totally dumb because I've no clue what I did not do or did wrong, adsense account keeps showing zero, my traffic is zero and nothing works, this sure is NOT as easy as it should. Oh well, so much about that opportunity to make any money here sad Even few cents for 1000 hits would have been better than 0..

Try going into "edit" mode for one of your hubs and see whether the "This hub may be considered commercial" radio box is ticked.  This should be the default setting anyway, but you never know.

I hope I finally figured out what has been wrong! For whatever reason the code in my hubpages account settings did not match with my code in the adsense account. I just edited it so we'll see! Now I feel so stupid why didn't I check that right away??
