Before I say anything about the Logitech Gaming Keyboard G110 I would like to repeat that I stick to my statement that a Gaming Mouse is the best and most comfortable gaming device for me. However I must add that a keyboard is needed for various other reasons. But a gamer subconsciously or accidentally always lays his hand on a gaming device. So did I. I ordered this pretty piece of Logitech Gaming Keyboard G110 not just for gaming but for regular purposes but it always seems to me that games are the best way to test these gadgets. Be it a 3D monitor, an Xbox 360 controller, Gaming Mice, Headphones or this Logitech gaming keyboard.

Let us start with appearance. The Logitech Gaming Keyboard is not the ideal portable or compact keyboard. Though the advanced version of another Logitech bestseller G19 it looks more like the Microsoft Sidewinder X6 keyboard. It is Big and has a number controls and keys that you must not have seen in a multimedia keyboard. The difference can be explained by the fact that the Logitech Gaming Keyboard G110 is a GAMING keyboard and not a multimedia keyboard.

Let us now move on to the features and functions of this wonderful Gaming Keyboard that is armed to the core to serve you. The ultimate weapon for all gamers, the Logitech Gaming Keyboard comes fully equipped and armed with specific keys and controls to give you the ultimate gaming experience. The super soft keys are any gamers dream. Besides the regular number of alpha-numeric and functional keys there are other keys exclusive to the Logitech Gaming Laptop G110. These keys serve the purpose of giving you an uninterrupted gameplay experience. Starting from top left corner of the Logitech Gaming Laptop G110 there are keys to disable the Windows key and the Context menu key for uninterrupted gameplay and there are G-keys or macro keys and on top are the Macro switches that help to switch from one Macro profile to another. A combo of these keys means you can save 36 macros (12G x 3M). On the top right side there is a volume control drum that can be scrolled and there are multimedia shortcut keys.

There is an independent Microphone and headphone jack for audio processing and a USB port. The LED lit keys are really helpful in darkness. If you are in a mood to experiment you can even mix the blue and red LEDs to create various colors. There are channels underneath the keyboard for proper wire management. The palm rest is an add-on for further comfort. It is detachable and if you find it to nosy you can detach it anytime. As for me I prefer to use my Logitech Gaming keyboard G110 with the palm rest.

The best part is that the Logitech Gaming Keyboard G110 comes at a much lower price than its ancestor the Logitech Gaming Keyboard G19.
