The Best Mario Games

The Mario games have been one of the best video game franchises of all time, and it is little surprise. With addictive gameplay, an easy to play style, and plenty of replayability. As the Nintendo brand has grown over the years we have seen Mario games reappear in whole new ways, however they have always remained true to the basic beautiful gameplay of the Super Mario Games.

You can find Mario in the Best DSi games and the Top Wii Games, with more games in the works over the coming year!

The Mario series has been one of my favorte set of games over the years, from the 2D platform DS game to the elequent Mario Kart Wii Game!

Over the following article I will be going over some of the best mario games to have appeared over the past thirty years!

There have been four major Wii Mario games to have been released

Super Mario Galaxy Wii

Super Mario Galaxy Wii was the first Mario Wii game to be released. Following Mario through a series of levels, based around different galaxies with their own intriguing planets. Super Mario Galaxy is one of the few 3D Mario games, which some people like, but I personally prefer the old style 2D versions. Super Mario Galaxy has plenty of fun extras to keep things interesting, and a wide variety of planets to help the gameplay remain fresh.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii

The New Super Mario Bros was originally released for the Nintendo DS, however it's Wii port has been just as successful. The New Super Mario Bros Wii follow the traditional 2D gameplay which I love so much, but incorporates a few new things, including a few motion gimmicks to help give a little freshness to the Mario series. This is one of the best Mario games for the Wii.

Mario Kart Wii

Mario Kart Wii is the ultimate in Mario party games, with some brilliant tracks not to mention aggressive gameplay with some awesome bonuses. as you and your friends battle around the new and old tracks on Mario Kart Wii you will have to battle and bash your way to first place!

A few beers and Mario Kart Wii can help entertain you and your friends, with single race and tournament modes!

Super Smash Bros Brawl Wii

Super Smash Bros Brawl brings an exciting fast paced fighting aspect to the Mario series. Super Smash Bros Brawl ins another fantastic Wii party game which provides a load of entertainment for everyone, as you swing your way to glory in this top Wii fighting game. Swing those Wii remotes as you fight your friends, one on one or in a fully fledged tournament.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (And Winter Games)

When Mario & Sonic hit the olympic games and the winter olympics you will be thrust in to some fantastic olympic events, where you must compete with a wild range of Mario and Sonic characters in an attempt to reach teh top. With plenty of multiplayer action on top of single player mode you should have little trouble finding entertainment in this event packed Mario Wii Game!

The true root of the best Mario games has always been on the hand held consoles. In the last few years we have really seen some massive improvements with the new Nintendo DS mario games, which bring all new action to the classic Mario series. Th best Mario DS games have sold in to the millions, with addictive gameplay, mixed with the old style 2D platform games, and of course a little mixture of modern Mario Kart DS!

New Super Mario Bros DS

New Super Mario Bros FDS is one ofthe best DS games I have played, it mixes the traditional 2D Mario games with a whole new raft of game enhancements that come with the power of the Nintendo DS. New Super Mario Bros DS takes you across a whole new series of levels with the classic style of gameplay. I love this mix of the new and old, it's addictive gameplay and tremendous gameplay easily make New Super Mario Bros DS one of the Best DS games ever!

Mario Kart DS

The Mario Kart DS game is one of the best DS Mario games for multiplayer fun. With plenty of tracks, challenges and characters to choose from, it is hard to get bored of this top DS game, single or multiplayer!

As with the Wii, Mario Kart DS is easy to pick up and hard to put down. The simple controls, fun weapons, and fast paced action make Mario Kart DS a beautifully made racing game for multiplayer, and parties!

Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story

In Mario & Luigi: Bowsers Inside story you are yet again pitted against the serial kidnapper as you journey through a series of imaginative levels giving you a wide range of fun challenges. This is the latest installments of DS Mario games, and easily holds up the quality expected from Mario DS games!

Super Mario 64 DS

Super Mario 64 DS ports the full Nintendo 64 Mario game to the Nintendo. Super Mario 64 DS is the best 3D Mario DS game, and has hours of gameplay, combining a brilliant storyline with true Mario quirky graphics.
