Lego Harry Potter was a hugely popular series produced by Lego which has now been discontinued. The series was produced between 2001 up until 2007. Kids and Adults were equally fascinated by the variety of models that were available in the Lego Harry Potter range. The series was based on the Harry Potter Movies and included the first five movies released. The Theme included many of the locations from the Harry Potter novels and films, in particular Hogwarts has been the main source for sets in the Harry Potter theme. At least 20 individual sets have been dedicated to recreating the school's classroom's, rooms, and the castle itself. This set was released in 2007 and was the 3rd edition of Hogwarts Castle that Lego made and biy is it a whopper. Also included are 9, yes 9 minifigures of Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Draco Malfoy, Professor Dumbledore, Rubeus Hagrid, Professor Snape, Professor Umbridge and a Death Eater. Also included are two Thestral minifigures modeled after the large, winged, skeletal horses in the Order of the Phoenix movie.This set contains a jaw-dropping 954 pieces.

This third version of Hogwarts is made up of three sections. The greenhouse where Hermione can tend her potted mandrake, which is included, The Room of Requirement, where Harry can get just about anything he wishes (provided he walks past it three times) and a larger section with various different rooms. The greenhouse contains several plants and a blackboard. The Room of Requirement is mostly empty, except for some banners on the walls of the ground floor, and some furnishing in the side towers. The large center section contains the entrance hall, the trophy room on the first floor and Professor Umbridge's office. There's even a fireplace through which Harry could exchange messages with Sirius Black, there are also other rooms with a fireplace, a bed, potions, and a telescope.

This set was released in 2005 and contained a set of the second Triwizard task where the champions must rescue people from the mermaids at the bottom of the lake at Hogwarts. It also included 5 minifigures ofHarry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Viktor Krum, and a Mermaid. This set contains 175 pieces.

The Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger minifigures come with with two faces on each side of their heads, one asleep and one awake. The Viktor Krum minifigure also comes with a shark's head. There is a secret lever that wakes Ron and Hermione and launches them to safety you can press another lever to launch the sea creature across the lake floor.

Guarded by a fearsome merman, Ron and Hermione are fast asleep at the bottom of the lake. Can Harry and the shark-headed Viktor Krum rescue them' A secret lever will wake them up, but watch out for the water demons.

This set was released in 2005 and contains a set of the graveyard scene in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Also included are four minifigures of Harry Potter, Lord Voldemort, Lucius Malfoy and Peter Pettigrew. This set contains a massive 548 pieces.

The Lucius Malfoy figure has two faces, one with a Death Eater mask on and one with it off. The Graveyard set itself features lots of skeletons, 4 graves, the pot that Voldemort rises out of and other small rooms.

This set was released in 2005 and features the large Hungarian Horntail and a stand set up for the audience watching the first Triwizard task. Also included are three minifigures of Harry Potter, Professor Dumbledore and Professor Moody.This set contains 265 pieces.

Also a part of the set is a magnetic golden "egg", which Harry can hold using a magnetic piece that can be attached to his hand.

To complete the first task of the Triwizard Tournament, Harry needs to grab the golden egg, but he needs to get past the angry Hungarian Horntail dragon first. When the vicious dragon breaks loose, no one is safe.
