Buy Johnny Lightning Star Trek Series 1

Updated on March 17, 2011

In 2004 Johnny Lightning, an American model manufacturer famous for their diecast models, started releasing sets of plastic Star Trek Ships under the banner "Legends of Star Trek", this has now stretched to 6 series of Ships at the present time.

Each model came on a Blister card and the early series had an additional "free" gift such as stickers, embroidered patches. The models were 5 inches wide and came on their own display stand.

This hub concentrates on Series 1 of the collection, each of these ships came on blue-backed cards with stickers relating to each ship.

Since each of the kits were so beautifully detailed they make great displays either on their own or as a set and since they are quite small they can be bought online and shipped at a fairly low cost. For this reason Amazon is agreat place to buy them as they are still very much in stock. They also often come up for sale on Ebay.

If you are interested in other Star Trek models please take a look at my Corgi Star Trek Model Hub, my Mega Bloks Star Trek Hub or my F Toys Star Trek Fleet Collection Hub.

Hello, I started collecting some small scale Star Trek ships about 2 years ago. I know most manufacturers have stopped making these but I have gotten some from Johnny Ligtning , Furuta, Hot Wheels and Hallmark. I have bought most of mine from Ebay but I would love it if you could tell me some other places where I might be able to get these for a good price. Thank you for reading this and thank you for your time.
