Updated on November 20, 2012

In this guide I will talk about the weapons, and ways for you to play Nuketown 2025 on multiplayer. I will go over how to play the mosh pit game mode in order to have the most success while playing the game mode.

Also, please feel free to follow me on Twitter @Johnrr631992 or i will be posting all of my guides as I write them on there 24 hours before they become available via Google.

Also I am officially recruiting for a new clan, I play only on Xbox 360, and will be looking for members, must go through a short recruitment stage, but as long as your decent you shouldn't have a problem.
You can contact me for that @ MKS JohnR on Xbox live.

Also feel free to post in the comments. i am available there, and will be able to answer questions, comments or concerns.

ALSO!!! - I am starting a new clan. If you are reading this feel free to message me on Xbox Live, or on Twitter. As of now I am only open to people on Xbox, but will be moving multi-platform in December/January. So please feel free to contact me with questions. Also I will have a Website specifically for the clan, and it will be pretty big.

Nuketown 2025.. What is it?

Nuketown 2025 is a game map that was available to anyone who preordered Black Ops 2. The game mode is Nuketown 24/7 and features a mosh pit style game mode where each round is voted for the game mode of your choice. In that you can play any game mode on the short map style and the games go by quick. This also allows for high scoring. You will easily rank up, and get to the high levels quickly.

Weapons to use.

There are a number of options that you can choose when you are going to play this game mode, and map.

First off.. SMG's.. The scorpion, or the MSMC I enjoy using then playing objective based games with a laser sight. in my opinion they are extremely effective, and will get the job done quickly and easily.

Second.. Shotguns.. I have seen these used effectively, and ineffectively.. I suggest using this if good with it, but if not, this will hurt you greatly. None the less the last two shotguns are fun, and great to use on this small map.

Third. Assault rifles. These are very effective like sub machine guns, and will help you greatly if you are a beginner learning how to play and use these weapons.

FOURTH! LIGHT MACHINE GUNS. These weapons are very effective, and will help you the greatest. These are by far the best weapons to use on Black Ops 2. These will allow you to get plenty of kills, and to have plenty of success when you are attempting to get many kills. Not to mention the fact that you get a LOT of ammunition on these so they are extremely effective. As far as Light machine guns go, I prefer the LSAT.. I think it is the best one, but my co leader of my clan greatly prefers the HAMR, instead because of the initial faster fire rate.

Something that is extremely effective in this game mode is the EMP Grenade. The EMP grenade will allow you to do many things for extra points.

First- It will give you an extra 50 points for every player the grenade hits, and on this small map you will most likely hit at least one player if not more with every grenade throw. This is a very easy way for you to get a LOT of points easily.

Second. This will also allow you to kill equipment. Bouncing betty's, tac insertions, and spike charges will also get your more points, in addition to hitting any players.

LASTLY. Any score streaks like sentry guns, and guardians will be taken out by your EMP grenades and will also award more than 100 points. This will benefit you greatly when you are trying to have great success when using these.

I have had 9 kills on a game and had more points then players that have had 50 kills. This is solely because of the EMP's. But when you apply the EMP's and get kills you will get around 10k XP per game. It is really worth trying, and doing to do this.

Score Streaks

When choosing kill streaks on nuketown keep it simple to start. Do not go for big kill streaks because most likely you will have trouble getting these kill streaks. You should keep it simple, still to hunter killers, care packages, uav's, hellstorm missiles, lightning strikes, and things in the first half. Chances are you will not be able to get higher kill streaks without someone shooting you, spraying through a wall, throwing 10 grenades at you, or another bunch of things that ill easily kill you.

There are a few strategies that you can follow on this map to be successful.

First off.. Camping.. There are a few places that you can camp, and still help your team. First off above the windows. While this may seem like a bad idea. If this is an objective based game, keeping the enemy from getting there by using this upstairs is very effective, and will greatly help your team. Sitting up there with a light machine gun will provide you to be successful. You will have no problem getting points, getting killstreaks and helping your team win. Not to mention this is a great place to sit with a light machine gun and get a lot of kills per cli of ammunition.

SECOND.. running and gunning. When you are going to do this method you are going to want to use a sub machine gun with lightweight on. This will make you effective at getting to the enemy spawn, and taking them out to be successful. This is a good method to use on various game modes, and you will probably not get big killstreaks, but none the less you will still have success overall. I also strongly suggest using EMP's on this class (The Grenade)

So overall Nuketown is a great way for you to level up, and prestige. You will and should have great success when playing this game mode. You will get a LOT of Xp, and should have a decent KD ratio if you play this correctly, but none the less this is the best game mode for you to play in order to level up quickly.

HAHA, sadly I'm usually the teammate in the garage on the enemy side.. Not to mention where I play hardcore I typically am getting shot by teammates camping in your location..

Oh, one more thing I do sometimes (well, more like most of the time...) is take a class with the MK48 (attachments and the like don't really mind, I typically use rapid fire and either adjustable stock or laser sight (to help with closer encounters), or maybe an optical attachment to work on the challenges for the attachment), set up behind the door to the bomb shelter behind the red house, and hose down the green house's garage. If you've got teammates who can tempt the into and through the garage, this works OBSCENELY well. Also works pretty well if you run in to people who tend to rush forward to control the map, or if they want to get the "match-starting collateral kills." Conversely, setting up in the doorway between the green house's kitchen and garage and watching the side of the red house works pretty well. (Another thing to note is that these spots are also pretty good ones to use with a sniper rifle, with practice.

Yes I am not a fan.. They should have put "FRENZY" like the ELiTE emblem and that would have been better in cool letters.. I wish they had some things as better emblems.

The biggest disappointment for me when that happened was how absolutely LAME the emblem pieces you unlock for fury and frenzy kills are. I mean seriously, wtf?

Hmm that's interesting.. I just got the 6 rapid kills yesterday on Nuketown.. on headquarters.. We captured the HQ, I was running in with the Remington, and killed 5 people, and then killed a 6th as he spawned right outside.. It was really cool, and crazy haha.. I blind sided them, and didn't even think that was going to happen.

Here's a tip for you... have a class set up with the QBB LSW (your preference for perks/attachments/equipment) for Hardpoint. I entered the green building through the garage (through the garage door), and blind sided pretty much the entire other team. Got my first quad feed hip firing the QBB (without a laser sight), all 4 kills within about 3 bullets (I fired off around 15 - 20 shots though), and got another a few seconds later (after he killed a teammate) to round out the frenzy kill. :D
