Basic Club Penguin Strategy and Hints

Before you get onto the secrets, it would be good to know the basic strategies for playing games on Club Penguin. There are many games available and the number of games online is constantly increasing! We will take a look at some of the older games as well as some of the most recently released so that there is something for everyone.

Thin Ice

Thin Ice is one of the older minigames on Club Penguin. In this game, you have to help navigate your penguin across a sheet of ice that distintegrates under your feet with every step taken. Players earn more points for covering as much ground as possible. The maximum score is earned by stepping on every single piece of ice without falling through.

To do this, players should look for ways to take the looooong way around an obstacle. What looks like a shortcut could leave you with no way to touch any of the other iceblocks, leaving them stranded and you with less points than you deserve. When in doubt, walk along the outsides first and then the insides. Moving in back and forth squares can also solve many puzzles. Refer to the pictures to the right for better examples.

Pizzatron 3000

Hurry up! Those pizzas won't make themselves, y'know. In Pizzatron 3000 penguins have to make quick decisions. Keep your mouse cursor hoverng between the two sauce bottles so you can make quick decisions early on. After putting the cheese on the pizza, put the toppings on. The best way to get the toppings on the pizza is to make short, straight lines back and forth from the topipng to the pizza. Do not loop or curve.

Card-Jitsu

One of the newest club penguin games and multi-player to boot! Club Penguin's Card-Jitsu is a modified version of rock-paper-scissors. Players choose one of three elemental cards and pit them against their opponet. Fire beats Snow, Water beats Fire, and Snow beats Water. In the case of the tie, players who used the highest numbered card win.

To win the entire match, collect one of each variety of card or three of any one type of card. Keep playing to buid up your rank. If you reach the top rank of ninja, players can access a secret card room for only the best card-jitsu players.

Bean Counters

When playing Bean Counters inside of the coffee shop, the best tip is not to get greedy. Don't try and grab a bag of coffee beans that is dangerously close to junk items like anvils or giant fish. Collect two or three and drop them off at the loading bay. Only collect four if they have come in fast succession and it looks safe.

Jetpack Adventures

In Jetpack Adventures, Penguins must fly through the air using their jetpack and avoid anvils, hot-air balloons, trees, and more. They will also have to contend with a low fuel tank that most be constnatly refilled by grabbing floating gasoline cannisters.

Players have two options: they can either try and collect as many coins as they can or avoid them all. For more information on this, read on to the secrets section. Players should go slowly in the open air and carefully "edge" themselves forward by tapping on the buttons in obstacle heavy areas.

Don't forget you can turn your pack off by pressing the down arrow key! It can be very useful when you need to quickly avoid something.

Club Penguin Cheats and Secrets

The developers of Club Penguin have included a large number of secrets, cheats, and tricks into the game. These can be found by astute players or using info found in guides like htis one. It is important to explain what is meant by the word cheats: It does not refer to actually cheating, just bonuses put into the game by the people who designed it. Using 3rd party tools to win at games or otherwise play better than you would otherwise is against the rules and could result in your Club Penguin account being deleted.

Finding Cheats and Easter Eggs By Yourself

Club Penguin is growing constantly, so new material will be available and it will take time to find and create listings for new content. During this time, it might be a good idea for the players to search for cheats on their own.

The best way to find a cheat is to click everywhere. A lot of background items can be interacted with. Clicking on some special spots on shop items can reveal new, special items to purchase. The same goes for items in the background - pay attention to the background in games, missions, and the worldmap to see if you can make something special happen.

Free Coins in Jet Pack Adventure

The old-but-popular Jet Pack Adventure game can be a great way to earn money.  While flying, avoid collecting a single coin.  If a penguin manages to finish the course without collecting any money at all, they'll be rewarded with a whopping 1000 coin bonus.

This is an amazing way to make money, but be careful! It's harder than it looks to avoid winning.

Cheats in Pizzatron 3000

In Pizzatron 3000, it is possible for players to play a modified version of the game. On the start page for the game, a small red lever near the bottom fo the conveyer belt is sitting alone on the right. Click on it to switch the game from regular pizza to dessert pizza.

This is a great way to change up the game if you've played it before and want something new.

Furniture Trick/Glitch

It is unclear whether this is an actual cheat or just a glitch in the software. Whatver it is, it is harmless and can add a neat dimension to your house!

In this cheat, penguins can place their wall items ont he floor and their floor items on the wall! The method is simple but does require very good timing. Do not feel bad if you can't do it, it can be very difficult.

  1. Put the item you want to use for the cheat in one of your first inventory slots near the top.
  2. Doubeclick the item very quickly.
  3. Immediately hit tab, followed quickly by enter.

That should place your item in the new location. This allows players to provide a unique look for their rooms and helps set them apart from other penguins. As of this writing, there are no negative effects from doing this but be aware that glitches can sometimes have unexpected side-effects!

Hidden Clothing in Club Penguin

Every season, new clothing catalogues come out. Inside almost every one of these catalogues are hidden clothing options for penguins to find. For instnace, in one of the most recent catalogues, players could click on a bucket of red paint to receieve access to a new hairstyle (a mohawk).

Look to the right to see a few more places to click to find special items to spend your coins on!

Hidden Map Locations in Club Penguin

The Iceberg- On the far right side of the map is a floating iceberg.  Click on it to find this new area.
