Doodle Jumping Star Game App For iPhone - Tips, Hints, Cheats, High Scores

Updated on January 26, 2012

Looking for Doodle Jumping Star game app tips, hints, cheats and high scores? Well you are in the right place. In this article we will review the doodle jumping star game for the iPhone and iPad, look at some handy tips and hints, see if we can find any cheats and also view some high scores. Basically, everything you need to know about the new doodle jumping star game you will find here.

There have been lots of ‘Doodle’ iPhone games in the past year. These always seem to be very popular and this one seems to be no exception. The idea is that the graphics and drawing are very crude and simple, a doodle basically. In doodle jumping star the same is true. Currently this is a free download from the app store so if you want to download doodle jumping star for free, now is the time to do it.

Doodle Jumping Star

When you open the app up you are taken to the menu page. Here you can start a new game, visit the shop to buy upgrades, view your list of top ten high scores, draw sticker or read the about page. You can also turn the sound on or off. The about me page has the instructions on how to play, all you do is tilt the phone and tap the screen once to jump.

One of the clever features of doodle jumping star is the draw sticker page. Here you can create your own doodle character. You enter a paint like scenario where you have basic tools to draw or paint a new character. You can use any different colors and designs and basically create whatever you want. You can even import pictures from your camera roll and use these. When you have completed your character you can save it and then use it when you play the actual game. This is a top feature and really makes the app more fun.

When you want to play the game simply tap start on the main menu. Now you go to the character page, here you can change your character and the costume they wear. At first there are just three characters available, to unlock new ones you need to collect diamonds and then you can spend these to buy new characters and costumes. On this page you can also select the character that you may have drawn earlier in the game.

When you are happy with your character you can tap play. Now you enter the doodle jumping star game play. Your little character sits and waits at the bottom of the screen. Tap the screen to start him jumping. Now all you have to do is jump up through the platforms. The idea of doodlejs is simply to jump as high as possible through the game. On the way, collect diamonds and power ups that will help you out. Your score is at the top of the page and the higher you go the higher your score will be. Your best ever score is also displayed at the top of the screen, so you can aim to beat this as you play.

Tips, Hints, Cheats & High Scores

If you are looking for tips and hints for doodle jumping star then there are a few we can look at. The first tip is to get the power ups, the best one is the rocket, this gives you an extra high jump for a few seconds. Another tip is to aim for the trampolines, these shoot you up higher. The most obvious tip is not to fall down off the screen as this will end your game. To get a really highscore you need to practice well and try not to make sudden movements with your iPhone or iPad.

If you are looking for cheats for doodle jumping star then sadly there are none. As this is a new game it may be that some cheats come out in future, but for now there are no cheats for doodle jumping star. I think it is much more fun if you play the game without cheats anyway.

One thing that is lacking with this game is the ability to upload your score to a global leaderboard. I think this would improve the game if this feature was added. At the moment it is really unclear what a good high score is, my best score is 2358.59 but I imagine it would not be to hard to beat that. If you like you can post your high scores at the bottom of this page and we will see what a good high score is.

The doodle jumping star game app for the iPhone and iPad is a great fun little game that is well worth a download. Hopefully some of the tips and hints have helped you somewhat and you can get yourself a new high score. As this is a free download it is one that everyone should give a try as I am sure it will keep you entertained for a few hours and put a smile on your face.
