Groesten Haus Zombies: How to Unlock the Mystery Box in Call of Duty WWII

In this guide I will teach you the secret to unlocking the mystery box on the side zombies Map Groesten Haus on Call of Duty WWII. This map is essentially the tutorial map that most played on the first day before starting out on the Final Reich. With that being said, the map can be fairly difficult if you are stuck using the basic weapons, although it you read below I will tell you the steps in order to unlock the mystery box, and help you survive that much longer. This map is also arguably the smallest zombie map that has been released, therefore having more powerful weapons will significantly increase your chances at survival.

It is also worth noting that even though unlocking the mystery box will give you better weapons, please also remember to take advantage of the power ups to help your character. The worst things that would happen is unlocking the mystery box and instantly dying, or having a significantly under powered weapon.

The mystery box is located on the 2nd floor of the house, and will allow you to spend 1,000 credits and you will be given a random gun, if you choose to pick it up. This box houses all of the weapons that you would play multiplayer with, and it is completely random as to what weapon you are going to get. While there are weapons that wouldn't make sense to choose on this small map for example a sniper rifle, it is luck of the draw and you never know what the box will reveal.

In order to unlock the mystery box a player is going to have to find, damage, and light up 10 lanterns. These lanterns are hidden throughout the map, but once all 10 have been activate a door on the 2nd floor of the map will open, and will allow you to freely use the mystery box.

In order to activate the lanterns the player must damage whether by shooting or knifing the lanterns. Upon successful completion of damaging a lantern a purple glow can be seen inside the lantern. It is also worth noting that the lanterns can be activated in any order, and there is no specific order the player needs to activate these. I will also attach a video at the bottom that will show the exact location of each of the lanterns.

The first 4 - The first 4 lanterns are located on the first floor. Some can be found on the walls, hanging from a ceiling or they can be sitting on a chair.

The second 4 - The next 4 lanterns are going to be upstairs. Once again these lanterns could be sitting on a table, hanging from the ceiling.

The last 2 - The last 2 lanterns can be found outside. If you go to the windows on the bottom floor you can look outside and you will see the lanterns hanging. Being that you cannot actually go to these locations the last 2 will have to be shot.

Once yu have shot the 4 lanterns if you go to the 2nd floor of the house you should see a door that is open, that was not previously open. In this room is where you will find the mystery box. If the door did not open, you may have missed a lantern, and you may have to shoot each one a couple additional times.

Overall this Zombies map is a lot of fun. It is definitely the smallest of the zombies maps that have been posted. I will also be posting a guide on how to unlock pack a punch on this map.
