If you know a girl who’s really into horses, you might consider giving horse games as birthday gifts or Christmas gifts. Just about all kids enjoy playing games, and there are lots of fun games for girls. More specifically, most girls go through at least one stage during their childhood or adolescence when they adore horses and everything that has to do with horses. Why not combine these two areas into one? You can with horse games for girls!

Horse Jumping Games

If you're looking for horse jumping games, consider "My Horse Show Game." Each player has to complete a course of jumps by timing and approaching the jumps in the correct way. The game is played on a plastic mat that includes pictures of horses. Included with the game are seven jumps and four plastic horses. As many as four players can play at one time. If you have trouble getting the mat to lay flat, place it on a table and set some heavy books on top of it.

Herd Your Horses Game

This horse game really tweaks the imagination! Players pretend to be members of a wild horse herd or ranchers. When the kids are playing the part of mustangs, they have to use all their skills to survive the elements and wild animals. When the players assume the role of ranchers, they try to see who can complete their horse herd first.

This horse game is fun, and it's also educational. Included are facts about horses and different horse breeds. For ages 7-12.

Horse Lover's Monopoly

Boy, do I wish they had these horse games back when I was a kid! This is the classic board game with a horsey theme. Instead of hotels and motels, the properties are breeds of horses - 22 in all. The pewter playing pieces include a horse, a horseshoe, a saddle, a hay bale, a riding boot, and a horse trailer.

Horse Lover's Monopoly game is recommended for ages eight and up. These aren't just fun games for girls - boys will enjoy them, too!

LEGO Horse Stable

This is a way cool horse toy. It includes a girl named Laura, a mare named Star, and a foal named Robin. All sorts of accessories are in here, too, like flowers, bows, a brush, ribbons, carrots, apples, and even a kitty cat. Of course, the stable is included, too. This can easily become a horse game. Players can compete to see which one can come up with the best new design for the stable or the best fashion look for the horses. Recommended for ages three and up.

Toy Story 3 Buckaroo Game

Remember Bullseye, the horse from Toy Story? He's the "horse host" of this game. Players have to stack objects on top of each other, and all the pieces have a Western or equine theme. They include saddle parts, a horseshoe, a cowboy hat, a cowboy boot, a rope, a cactus, a plastic horse, and more. This is a great game for hand-eye coordination. Recommended for ages four and up.

These are some awesome suggestions for people who love horses. I grew up on a ranch and my sisters and I were obsessed about horses. Every Christmas we would get some sort of horse toy, stuffed animal or game, and we loved it.

Thanks for sharing these ideas, and congratulations on being the Hub of the Day!

I had NO idea there were this many horse games for kids! I thought "My Little Pony" was about it! Isn't it amazing how when one of our kids or Grandkids likes something we try to find everything we can related to it? :) Interesting hub!
