Is the Madden 13 Season Ticket worth buying?

Updated on September 2, 2012

Intro

In this hub I will talk about the Madden 13 season pass that you can purchase in game. I will talk about what it is, what you get, and if it is worth paying for, and if you should pay for it. Thanks in advance for reading, and please feel free to check out my other Madden hubs, I have written a few on various topics from winning on games, ultimate team, and other topics.

Season Ticket

Okay so first off. What is Season Ticket. Season Ticket is a promotion that you pay about $25,00 for, or 2000 microsoft points on Xbox. When you pay that for the Season Ticket you will now be able to play EA Sports games 3 days early before they come out. Also on top of that you save 25% on all future DLC packs and content that you buy on various games. So in reality you could pay for this back if you are going to be purchasing in game content over the course of your career. Also the Season ticket is only good for 1 year, so you will have to renew this next year.

If you buy the season ticket on Madden 13, then you also get an additional bonus. You will get 2,400 Microsoft points worth of Packs for your ultimate team. This will give you 24 gold packs, and 1 legend pack. This alone will make the deal worth buying, since you are making money right from the start.

Also Madden claims that if you have season ticket then you will get 5,000 Microsoft Point worth of content over the course of the game. So this may be another added bonus to you. Now let me get on to is it worth it.

Is it worth it?

If the only EA Sports game that you play is Madden, then NO, it probably is not worth it.

When you are trying to comprehend whether or not you want to pay the $25.00 for this, there are a few questions you should ask yourself. Will I be playing other EA Sports games, (FIFA, NBA,NHL etc..). Next you should ask yourself, Will I be purchasing any card packs for ultimate team. If you are going to purchase any card packs for ultimate team, then I suggest buying the Season Ticket, because not only do you make your money on the season ticket now, but you will get the card packs that will help you out and make the game worth it. Plus where you are guaranteed stuff in the future that may also be other card packs, or bonuses to help you further yourself in the ultimate team.

I think in the end this question simply falls on whether you will take full advantage of the Season ticket. If you are buying this simply for what you might use it for, or don't play ultimate team it may not be worth it, BUT if you do play other EA Sports games, and love Ultimate team, then you may actually like the Season Ticket, and may be the right thing for you.

Summary

So overall the Season Ticket falls on what purpose you can make out of it, and is perfect for some, and may be a waste for others. I think overall it should fall on the basis of whether you will use it to the full potential and take full advantage of what they are offering.

Please feel free to comment below and let me know if you will be buying the Season Ticket, if you think its worth it, or want it. Thanks for reading.
